Drinking water

Drinking water can be supplied to passenger vessels docked in the Antwerp City Port or at the Scheldt Quays City zone using the services of Water-link. A ship is supplied with drinking water by deploying a standpipe. On the cruise pontoon, drinking water is supplied using a fixed installation.

Commercial vessels

Commercial vessels must initially take in water at one of the loading stations in Port of Antwerp Bruges. What if circumstances prevent this and there is an urgent need for drinking water? A barge moored in the City Port can therefore:

  • order water via a drinking water boat (service agreement between Port of Antwerp Bruges and De Wit Bunkering);
  • or enlist the services of Water-link to make on-site ship delivery.

Ordering drinking water

To have drinking water supplied:

  • Fill in Water-link's online form in advance.
  • After completing the application, you will be forwarded a summary by e-mail. Only if the delivery is not possible will Water-link get in contact by e-mail or phone.
  • Otherwise, you can assume that delivery will take place as requested.
