Antwerp City Port plan

The college approved the Antwerp City Port plan 2020-2030 for the Scheldt Quays City zone and the Eilandje in 2020. In this plan, experiencing the water plays an important role. That means there will be plenty of room for recreation on or near the water and that will strengthen the connection between the city and the river Scheldt.

Objectives of the City Port plan 2020-2030

• A policy framework for the City Port.
• Zoning of bodies of water and quays.
• A framework for berth management, operation management, police regulation, enforcement and the concession for shore facilities.
• Projects that will help shape the vision for the City Port.
