Events in the port area
Submit an application for events on the water or in the port. You can submit your application either to the city or to Port of Antwerp-Bruges, depending on the location.
- For events on the water or in the Port of Antwerp-Bruges port area: the organiser or shipping company must submit an application via the Port of Antwerp-Bruges website.
- For events in the Antwerp City Port: submit an event request to the city (Dutch only). Keep in mind the agreements governing events in the City Port: see the police regulations. On board, the captain will remain responsible for safety.
- For events taking place both on a ship and ashore: you may need 2 permits if the events are taking place in the Port of Antwerp-Bruges area:
- in case of activities on-board and for mooring activities: apply via the Port of Antwerp-Bruges website.
- in case of shore-based activities that are publicly accessible: apply via the city (Dutch only).
