Berths for passenger ships

Every year, the city of Antwerp welcomes some 850 river cruises at the Scheldt Quays City zone and in the Kattendijkdok. Antwerp's historic centre is within walking distance, allowing the more than 120,000 passengers to easily explore our fascinating city.

Due to the Oosterweel works and the construction of the Canal Tunnels, access to the Kattendijkdok is limited. Hotel ships up to 90 metres in length can still moor at the Kattendijkdok. Larger vessels will be given a berth at the Scheldt Quays City zone.

How long will it take to process your application?

During the working week, the City Port will process your request for a berth within +/- 48 hours. After that, you will be able to receive a permit to enter the berth.

How much will your stay cost?

The price depends on factors such as the type of ship, the number of mooring days and the purpose of your stay. View the mooring fee regulations.
