Embarking and disembarking for passenger vessels

The Antwerp City Port is the ideal starting and finishing point for a tour of the seaport, the Albert Canal or the Scheldt. There are several quays where you can moor briefly to allow passengers to embark and disembark.

Day tour boats

  • In the Asiadok, you can moor up at Quay 29E (Zuidkaai), for a maximum of 30 minutes. You must request a berth for this.
  • You can also moor up for a short time (10 minutes) at the Van Dijck pontoon. You must request this at least 48 hours in advance (work days).

Van Dijck pontoon (Steenplein)

The Van Dijck pontoon on Steenplein is often used for the Waterbus and the ferry service between the left and right banks. In addition, passenger vessels (water-borne tourism) may also use the pontoon under certain conditions. Read the Van Dijck pontoon guidelines.
